November, 2021 - This month, KIO Networks received the "Exceptional Company" recognition for carrying out outstanding practices, highlighting the solidarity, leadership and innovation of all its collaborators during the health contingency. This recognition, an initiative of the Consejo de la comunicación and the Instituto para el Fomento de la Calidad, was given to 100 companies, public and educational institutions and civil society organizations that participated with 164 outstanding practices.
"At KIO Networks we are very proud of this recognition. As a company specialized in information technology, we work to take care of our people through digital tools and new communication channels. On the other hand, we put into practice all the expertise of our employees in initiatives and programs that offered solutions and support to thousands of people during the quarantine," said Sergio Rosengaus, CEO of KIO Networks.
KIO Networks received this recognition in three categories: 1. New ways of working, for its program, "Tomorrowland", 2. Social Commitment for its initiative "Conectados con el Corazón" and 3. Adoption of digital tools for "Take IT Serious". It also received the "Best Practice" award in the category of Response and Adaptation Strategies for "Shift".
Each of the initiatives and projects fulfilled a different objective; "Tomorrowland" made it possible to maintain the communication and well-being of the KIOs through programs such as SER-K DE TI, which broke the barrier of distance and brought collaborators from different headquarters closer together. With KIO Escucha and KIO Pregunta, internal communication platforms were developed to address in real time doubts, suggestions and also the perception of employees and their needs.
Meanwhile, "Conectados con el Corazón" allowed us to take actions from the beginning of the pandemic that resulted in great support and solidarity from the KIOs; in "KIO Grandes Amigos", collaborators shared 15 minutes of their day with older adults to talk (video calls), provide support during the confinement and help them understand the technological tools that brought them closer to their loved ones. Likewise, with KIOs solidarios frente al COVID, furniture was delivered to equip the room for residents at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán, in Mexico City.
With "Take IT Serious", a series of initiatives were developed in which new technologies were adopted to facilitate the task of closeness, leadership and commitment to achieve the best results for the benefit of clients and society. With "Shift", the continuity and health of the KIOs was ensured with response and adaptation strategies in two main areas: collaborators and clients. In "Shift", programs such as the creation of a COVID Committee, a teleconsultation service called Mediclub, the automation of internal processes and even a virtual tour in Data Centers stand out.
